Help provide a place where people can face cancer together
Wellspring Edmonton will open its doors spring 2016 and offer you a warm, welcoming environment where others like you affected by cancer can focus on non-medical needs, whether they are emotional, practical, physical or spiritual.
The community-driven, not-for-profit centre is being built by people – from small suppliers to large construction firms – who are donating labour and materials because they understand that cancer touches everyone.
Now it’s your turn. We invite you to contribute your expertise, dollars, energy and networks to ensure everyone who encounters cancer has access to the support they need to move their lives forward.
Support programs for anyone affected by any type of cancer, at any stage
Wellspring Edmonton will offer you unique workshops, classes and individual support services designed to help you regain control of your life from cancer. These programs will be free of charge and delivered by professionals and trained volunteers – many of whom have gone through an experience with cancer and, like you, have overcome many of the challenges you are facing now.
Wellspring Edmonton is working closely with a health care advisory council to ensure the programs provided complement the medical treatment plans you may be using right now.
If you want to know more about these programs, visit the webpage Program Descriptions.
